Climate Activist Greta Thunberg trending because of all bad reasons

Teen Climate Activist Greta Thunberg who shot to fame with her ‘Fridays for Future’ movement in 2018 is Trending and that is because of all bad reasons.

The activist had shared an elaborate document on ways to intensify the stir after having waded into the ongoing farmers’ agitation in India.

Greta later deleted her tweet where she had shared Google documents on how to support and protest against the farm laws globally.

BJP leader Kapil Mishra sharing contents of Greta’s global farmers’ strike tool kit said it was designed for riots on January 26th in advance.

The Document Shared

The teen activist shared document titled ‘Global Farmers Strike – First Wave’, it reads , “On 26th January, a major day of globally coordinated actions, show your support at local physical locations, wherever you are. Either find protests happening in your city/state/country and participate in large (or small) numbers or organize one.”

It also consists of detailed instructions to target the Indian government and a few Indian corporate enterprises like Adani and Ambani.

The document further reads “While we are focusing on the 26th, you are encouraged to continue organising gatherings as and when possible – for this is not going to end anytime soon.”

Earlier she wrote “We stand in solidarity with the #FarmersProtest in India.” This had followed other global personalities such as Rihanna, Meena Harris, Lilly Singh, Mia Khalifa and Jay Sean also remarking on the protests.

Greta’s post that she deleted later

Greta Thunberg shared Google doc and titled it “a toolkit for those who want to help”. The 6-page document eems to have been in circulation since early January as it includes plans to intensify the protests on January 26, on the occasion of Republic

She tweeted “Here’s a toolkit if you want to help, “on clicking the link it takes the user to a document containing details on ways to support the protest. The document included various urgent actions, including creating a Twitter storm and holding protests outside Indian embassies and government officers to support farmers’ protest.

Beside the ground protests, the ‘toolkit’ g comprises bizzare campaigns against alleged human right violation and harmful policies which violate the Constitution. It reads “India has a long history of human rights violations, violence and a cruel indifference for its most vulnerable citizens. On January 26th the government will be celebrating the adoption of its constitution with a military parade, while continuing to perpetuate harmful policies that violate their own Constitution.”

The ‘toolkit’ appears to have been to run down India with lies and fabrications given the document spoke of a possible “massacre/genocide”

However, the Indian government has termed statements by foreign celebrities and personalities on the farmers’ protest as part of “vested interest groups”. Terming their support as “sensationalist social media hashtags the MEA called those comments “neither accurate nor responsible.”
