“Say No to Plastic” Tata Power Club Enerji launches New Online Module

‘Club Enerji’, Tata Power’s nationwide resource and energy conservation movement has been relentlessly spreading awareness about environment and resource conservation across the country. Continuing with its strategic focus on national building and in line with the World Environment 2018 theme, the company has announced the launch of its new online module for Club Enerji called “Say No to Plastic”.

This new module is aimed at sensitizing individuals about health and environmental hazards which are triggered as a result of using plastic. It urges people at large to come together and explore sustainable alternatives and reduce the production and excessive use of single-use plastic polluting our oceans, damaging marine life and threatening human health.

The objective of this module is to reach out to a larger group of online audiences with a vision to inculcate strong civic & moral values, enunciate the harmful effects of plastic on humans as well as animals, the main cause of plastic pollution and how we can conserve resources by eradicating the use of it. The module on “Say No to Plastic” will focus on the National Mission of ‘ Clean India ’ and will be hosted on the Club Enerji website – www.clubenerji.com wherein users can simply register to gain access to it.

Echoing his views on this,  Praveer Sinha, CEO & Managing Director, Tata Power said, “We, at Tata Power are determined to strengthen our Club Enerji programme and reach out to a global audience by encouraging the online audiences of today to become responsible citizens of tomorrow. Our latest online module on “Say No to Plastic” is aimed at making children realise the importance of eradicating the use of plastic and conserving our environment.”
