Meet Skoda Enyaq – company’s first electric SUV

The company has named it  Enyaq.  Its name is derived from the Irish name ‘enya’, meaning ‘source of life’.

Skoda’s first electric SUV based on the #Volkswagen Group’s Modular Electrification Toolkit (MEB) to be launched in series production.

Of course, Skoda already has an electric car to its name, the Citigo iV and so it’s not new to the EV space.

Skoda’s Vision iV concept gave us a glimpse into what the SUV would look like.

Skoda SUVs have traditionally had names ending in the letter Q

ŠKODA is establishing a new nomenclature that combines the ‘E’ in reference to electromobility with the ‘Q’ that characterises the final letter of ŠKODA’s successful SUV family.

We’ll know more about the electric SUV very soon, As to which markets the Enyaq will be introduced? Well, there’s no clarity on that yet.
