Magenta sets up country’s Largest Public EV Charging Station

Magenta has set up India’s largest public electric vehicle charging station in Navi Mumbai. The public charging station is functional 24*7 with 21 AC/ DC chargers for 2-wheelers, 3-wheelers and 4-wheelers. Depending on the chargers can charge a vehicle in 45 minutes. For vehicles that require AC slow charging, a parking bay has been developed which allows for overnight charging as well.

Honda willing to form new alliances to make electrification profitable says company CEO

Honda Motor Co’s chief executive said on Friday the Japanese automaker was willing to form new alliances to make electrification profitable. Toshihiro Mibe speaking at a press roundtable said If through an alliance Honda can accomplish early what it should aim to be, then we’d be willing to form an alliance. Honda has said the company aims to increase its ratio of electric vehicles and fuel cell vehicles to 100% of all sales by 2040.

TVS Motors to set up a dedicated vertical for electric vehicles with an investment of INR 1000 crore

Sudarshan Venu, Managing Director, TVS Motors in an interview with E T said that the company has committed INR 1000 crore to manufacture electric vehicles under a separate vertical. TVS is readying a complete portfolio of two and three wheelers in the range of 5-25kW.

Pre-bookings for Ola Electric’s electric scooter is now open at INR 499

Ola Electric has opened pre-bookings for its electric scooter. The company in a statement said Starting today, consumers can reserve their Ola Scooter on the official website by paying a refundable deposit of INR 499. Those who reserve now will get priority delivery.

SpiceJet ties up with eee-Taxi to deploy electric vehicles for employees’ movement
