Meet Citroën Ami – smallest affordable electric car

The French automaker Citroën has unveiled a fun-sized, adorable electric car named as Ami.

Citroën says the pint-sized EV will help people move around cities, serving as an alternative to bicycles, mopeds, scooters and buses.

The little wonder Citroën Ami packs a 5.5 kWh battery that offers a range of up to 43 miles.

The range is plenty to get from A to B in an urban area.

The 2.41-meter long EV is propelled up to 45 kmh (28 mph) by a 6-kW motor.

The Ami can be charged in under three hours via a traditional 220V wall socket.

The all new electric car will be available in four colour options- grey, blue, khaki and orange.

The car will be available to customers in France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Portugal and Germany this year.
