Tata Altroz: India’s cheapest electric car with Drive Range Of Up To 300 KM coming soon

India’s biggest automaker Tata Motors is all set to launch fully-electric premium hatchback Tata Altroz EV soon in the Indian market.

When launched Tata Altroz EV will be third after fully-electric versions of two of its ICE products Tigor and Nexon.

The fully-electric premium hatchback was introduced in India at the 2020 Auto Expo.

However, Tata did not reveal the technical details the technical details of the car.

The Altroz EV from the house of Tata will reportedly become the second car to be based on company’s Ziptron electric technology after the Nexon EV.

What we Know so far

Altroz EV will come equipped with an IP67 rated dust and waterproof battery with fast charging capability.

The EV will offer long range of about 300 km on a single charge.

It is worth noting that Nexon EV has an ARAI certified range of 312 km on a single full charge.

The fully-electric version of the hatch is expected to be expensive, and a base price could be around Rs 10 lakh.

If everything goes fine than the company may launch the car by mid of next year.
