NHPC has announced that it has successfully synchronized a 50 MW solar PV project at Theni/Dindigul district of Tamil Nadu with the grid.
Solar PV project was synchronized with the grid on 23.03.2018 in presence of the commissioning team consisting of senior officers from TANGEDCO and NHPC project officials.
The Power Station has generated 6.87 MU upto 15.04.2018.
The Solar project shall provide an annual generation of 105 Million Units with sale of entire power to TANGEDCO in accordance with the power purchase agreement.
The solar PV project was executed on EPC basis with a time frame of 9 months. Domestically manufactured Solar PV modules are used for the project.
