BELECTRIC France and Hamburg-based Luxcara are expanding their cooperation in the operation and maintenance (O&M) of PV power plants in France. Long-term service agreements have been signed for an additional three facilities with a total capacity of some 25 MWp. The PV power plants are being added to the portfolio that BELECTRIC already services for Luxcara, expanding it from roughly 38 MWp to a total of approximately 63 MWp. Luxcara and BELECTRIC have been working together for many years in Germany and Italy.
“BELECTRIC has already proved being a reliable partner for providing technical support for part of our PV power plant portfolio in France. By signing additional long-term O&M agreements with a volume of 25 MWp, we are further expanding this partnership. The most recently added power plants are older existing facilities,” explains Dr Alexandra von Bernstorff, Managing Partner of Luxcara.

BELECTRIC is one of the world’s largest service providers in the area of operations and maintenance of PV power plants and battery storage systems. The company services a global portfolio of over 1.3 GWp installed capacity. The services provided by BELECTRIC ensure earnings and value, reduce operating costs and, as a result, maximise return on investment (ROI) at currently operating PV facilities with a total value of over US$2 billion (approximately €1.7 billion). That makes BELECTRIC a market leader in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
“We are very pleased that Luxcara has once again decided to rely on BELECTRIC’s know-how and is entrusting us with the technical operations at additional existing plants. This allows us to expand our position in the French market, where we once again expect stronger growth in coming years,” says Ingo Alphéus, CEO of BELECTRIC Solar & Battery GmbH.
