“The after effects of Hurricane Maria have left much of Puerto Rico without access to power – with some projections that full grid restoration will take many months to achieve,” said Annette Clayton, CEO and president, North America Operations, Schneider Electric. “At Schneider Electric, we believe access to energy is a fundamental human right, and Salvador’s grassroots campaign is directly in line with that belief. We’re pleased to support the Light and Hope campaign as the citizens of Puerto Rico continue to recover and rebuild their energy resources.”
The Mobiya portable, water-resistant LED lighting systems with accompanying solar panels provide up to 48 hours of lighting with one day of solar charge and can also be used to charge mobile devices. Equipped with a universal charging cable, Mobiya lamps can also be charged by any USB port.
