1 MW solar plant installed by RelyOn Solar on Raj Bhavan Pune was inaugurated by Maharashtra Governor and CM on 5th November 2017.
RelyOn Solar was awarded the tender for this project on 7th October 2016 through competitive bidding and the work for the project started from February 2017. With 3,500 panels the plant is capable of generating more than 15 lakh units of power each year.
The project is another milestone for RelyOn Solar towards achieving their dream of becoming the best solar system installer in the country and enable large-scale adaptation of solar. RelyOn Solar with its customer-centric solutions and high-quality installations has completed more than 2000 installations across India.
Their Raj Bhavan system installation has a total saving of 50,400 tons of CO2 over a period of 25 years and is equivalent to the plantation of 2,01,600 trees. For the inauguration Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis and Governor Maharastra State, C. Vidyasagar Ra along with Energy Minister Chandrashekar Bawankule and cabinet Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Girish Bhapat were present sharing their plans to power all three Raj Bhavans in Maharashtra with Renewable energy.
Dr. Gundu Sabde CMD RelyOn said “The increasing renewable power generation will bring a transformation which will enable free market economy in the energy sector. This transformation may take a decade but its eminent not only in India but across the globe”.
