Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) has floated tender for 200 MW solar park. UPNEDA is inviting bids for the tender through tariff-based competitive bidding process.
Last date for the submission of the bid is December 10, 2018 and the earnest money deposit for the project is Rs. 200,000 per MW.
The state government will provide support for establishment of the grid network for solar park which will be developed under Uttar Pradesh Solar Energy Policy 2017 and guidelines issued by MNRE.
Bidder can apply for a maximum of 200 MW and set up the projects at multiple locations, however, minimum capacity for each solar park is of 50 MW.
According to Mercom solar park developers will be responsible for forecasting and scheduling, internal transmission system, acquiring the land, and O&M services.
