Ather Energy is reportedly planning to raise Rs 200 crore – Rs 300 crore to expand to new markets and further develop its products over the next year reports The Mint.
In June this year the company launched two e-scooters Ather 450 and Ather 340. The launch came nearly two years after it was first unveiled in February 2016.
According to the report the company is working on a new range of e-scooters that is set to hit the markets by 2020-2021.
The company will likely use this fund to expand its manufacturing capacity. The Bengaluru-based firm had started the commercial production of its scooters in July this year.
