With the present 2.27MW plants located in their campuses at Prasanthi Nilayam, Brindavan, Rajamahendravaram and Muddenahalli, Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust estimates production of an average of approximately 9,300 units of clean solar electricity per day. With the commissioning of the Phase II of Sri Sathya Sai Mitra rooftop solar, the cumulative reduction in carbon footprint would be around 7000 tonnes per annum, said the Chief Public Relation Officer of Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust.

Orb’s rooftop solar system will generate over 33 lakh units per annum of clean electricity for the Trust as part of its green energy initiatives.
