Madhya Pradesh floats tender for 25 MW rooftop solar projects
Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (MPUVNL) has floated tender inviting bids for 25 MegaWatt (MW) rooftop solar projects for industrial units in the state.
Last day for the submission of the bids is May 10, 2019.
“Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (MPUVNL) has… invited bids for 25 MW solar rooftop projects under RESCO mode for industries in Madhya Pradesh,” MPUVNL said in a statement.
Around 34 companies from across the country attended a meeting organised to discuss parameters related to the projects with officials of Madhya Pradesh government, World Bank and International Solar Alliance (ISA). Around 700 industries in Mandideep industrial area near Bhopal have been identified for the project.
The project is being implemented jointly with Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC), which has also provided land on lease to the industries, MPUVNL said. It further said that “MPIDC will be a co-signatory to the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) and is offering payment assurance for the developer, and there is no subsidy in the project”.
However, the World Bank (WB) through State Bank of India (SBI) and Asian Development Bank (ADB) through Punjab National Bank (PNB) are providing concessional loan to successful bidders under the project, MPUVNL said, adding that concessional funding from Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) is also available.
Kerala Legislative Assembly set to go green, KELTRON floats solar tender
In a bid to make Kerala Legislative Assembly green, the Kerala State Electronics Development Corporation Limited (KELTRON) has floated tender inviting bids for the supply of solar equipment- PV modules, solar inverter and solar battery.
Last date for the submission of bid is April 16, 2019 and Earnest Money Deposit is of Rs 12 thousand along with their bids.
Technical bids will open on April 19, 2019.
The scope of work includes
. Supply of 120 No’s of 325Wp (40 kW system) Poly Crystalline PV modules as per the BOQ and standard and tender conditions
. Supply of 15 KW, 10KW & 5KW Grid-Tied Solar Inverter as per the BOQ, standard and tender conditions
. Supply of 3 KW & 1KW Off-Grid Solar Inverter as per the BOQ.
Eligibility
The Bidders should have supplied Solar PV Modules, Solar Inverter and Batteries in the current financial year. And have a minimum of two-year experience in the supply of Solar PV Modules, Solar Inverter and Batteries.
The tender document also notes that the bidder should have an average annual turnover not less than Rs 12 lakhs in the last three financial years.

NTPC Floats Tender for 500 kW Rooftop Solar at its Muzaffarpur Thermal Power Plant
NTPC has floated tender for the installation of 500 kW rooftop solar project at various locations of Kanti Bijlee Utpadan Nigam Limited (KBUNL) located in Muzaffarpur district of Bihar.
Last date for the submission of the bid is May 8, 2019 and bidders will have to submit an earnest money deposit of INR 500,000.
Scope of work of the EPC tender includes the design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of rooftop solar PV projects totaling 500 kW. The successful bidder will also provide O&M services for five years from the date of the trial run of the rooftop solar PV systems along with system guarantee or warranty for five years.
As per the tender document solar PV modules must conform to IEC 61215/IS14286 standards and the capacity of each module must be a minimum of 240 watts.
The project completion timeframe is six months from the date of award of the contract.

GIPCL looking for EPC contractors to develop 150 MW solar PV projects
Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited (GIPCL) has floated tender looking to appoint engineering procurement construction (EPC) contractors for 150 MW of grid-connected solar PV projects.
100 MW solar PV projectwill be developed at Raghanesda Ultra Mega Solar Park, Dist. Banaskantha,while 50 MW will be developed at Dholera Solar Park, Dist: Ahmedabad.
Last date for the submission of the bid is May 6, 2019.
If a single bidder bids to construct project only in Dholera, then out of the 50 MW project at Dholera, there must be at least one solar PV project block of 40 MW capacity. Similarly, if a single bidder bids for constructing project only at Raghanesada, then out of the 100 MW project at Raghanesada, there must be at least one solar PV power project block of 75 MW. Scope of work includes design, engineering, supply, procurement, construction, and commissioning of the grid-connected solar projects.
GIPCL in the tender document notes that bidders should have experience of designing, supplying, installing, commissioning and operating solar projects of 150 MW or above in India on or after April 1, 2014. As per the tender document a single bidder can bid for the entire capacity. To ensure timely completion of projects, GIPCL can award the contract to two bidders. Successful bidders will have to provide operation and maintenance (O&M) services for ten years and the time frame for project completion is 485 days from the date the Letter of Intent (LoI) is issued.

SECI floats tender for 500 MW of Solar Power Projects in Tamil Nadu
The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has floated tender for 500 MW (Phase I) of grid-connected solar PV projects in Tamil Nadu on Build Own Operate basis. The power generated from the solar project will be acquired by Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited (TANGEDCO).
SECI will enter into a PPA with the successful solar project developers for 25 years. It has set the upper ceiling tariff at INR 2.85 /kWh.
Uttarakhand issues tender for the installation of 40 MW floating solar power projects
Uttarakhand Irrigation Department (UID) has floated tender for the installation of 40 MW solar power projects in the state.
The solar power projects will be developed across two dams in the Udhamsinghnagar district of Uttarakhand. Out of the 40 MW , a 27 MW solar plant will be developed at the Haripura Jalasay, while 13 MW solar plant will be set up at Tumariya Jalasay.
Uttarakhand Irrigation Department will provide the land for the development of the projects to the selected bidders free of cost. The projects will be developed on the Build Own Operate and Transfer (BOOT) basis.
The department will sign a PPA for the full tenure of 25 years with the developer. The last date of bid submission is May 25, 2019.
