TVS Motor Company enters the electric mobility segment with the launch of the scooter TVS iQube Electric in Bengaluru. The Electric scooter was launched by B.S. Yediyurappa, Hon’ble Chief Minster of Karnataka and Nitin Jairam Gadkari, Minister for Road Transport and Highways of India & Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Venu Srinivasan, Chairman, TVS Motor Company.

- The all new electric scooter from the house of TVS is priced at Rs 1.15 lakh (ex-showroom, Karnataka).
- The e-scooter is available for booking at an amount of Rs 5,000 at select dealerships and online as well.
- TVS iQube Electric scooter will go on sale in Bengaluru from 27th January 2020.
- The electric scooter is available in white colour option.
- It is powered by a 4.4 kW electric motor that offers a top speed of 78 kmph
- On a single charge it offers a range of 75 kms
- It comes with LED headlamps, LED tail lamps and sports an illuminating logo.
- The zero-emission scooter comes with connected feature like TVS SmartXonnect.
- It gets advanced TFT cluster and a dedicated app that offers features like geofencing, remote battery charge status, navigation assist, last park location, incoming call alerts/SMS alerts etc.
- According to the company TVS iQube Electric scooter can accelerate 0-40 kmph in 4.2 seconds.
Speaking on the launch of the scooter, Venu Srinivasan, Chairman, TVS Motor Company, said, “TVS Motor is driven by customer-Centric Innovation. As India moves ahead, its mobility solutions would increasingly be total experience-led, nowhere is this felt sharper than among the youth of India.”
