Mumbai based leading EPC company SolarSquare has installed country’s one of the largest Industrial rooftop plant.
The company in a statement said that “This 6,500 KWp plant produces over 8 Million units of electricity and saves close to a million dollars per year in electricity bills for our client.”
The solar rooftop plant has been installed for a leading home furnishing brand near Mumbai.
The company founded by ex IITians commissioned India’s 1st project with the latest technologies – M-PERC Half Cut module & SolarEdge inverter.
According to the company the SolarSquare engineered projects have yielded a few % higher generation over conventional projects, however the company did not mention the exact number of higher power generation.
Speaking on the occasion Nikhil Nahar, Director-SolarSquare said, “This project is a testimony of the core values followed by SolarSquare Energy to work relentlessly towards the customer delight by deploying the latest cutting edge game changing technology through our body of work”.
This news comes as breather to the solar industry that has been facing hard time because of lockdown and COVID 19 crisis, we are sure this is going to act as propellant for the rooftop segment that looks demotivated, exhausted and lags in achieving the target set by the government.
