The sub-brand of RR Global, BGauss has launched BGauss B8 electric scooter along with BGauss A2. Here in this article we bring specs, price and availability of the scooter.
- The flagship electric scooter BGauss B8 has 3 variants and is available at a starting price of INR 62,999. All prices are ex-showroom.
- The company will officially launch the scooters next month but the prices have been listed on BGAUSS’ website.
- The company has also started accepting bookings for the scooters for a token amount of ₹3,000.
- Booking for these new electric scooters are open for Bangalore, Chennai, Hydrabad and Panvel
- BGauss B8 is available in three variants -lead-acid, lithium-Technology, and lithium-ion
- All the three models are powered by a 1.9 kW BLDC motor that generates 95 Nm of peak torque .
- The scooters can achieve a top speed of 50 km/h.
- B8 lead-acid and lithium-ion variants offer a maximum riding range of 78 km on a single charge while the top-spec B8 Lithium Ion model has a range of 70 km/charge.
- B8 Lithium ion and lithium technology models can be fully charged in 3 hours while the lead-acid model takes 7 – 8 hours.
- BGAUSS B8 also comes with fully digital instrument panel but with push-button stop/start, different riding modes, and reversing mode.
- It offers IOT provisions (internet of things).
- B8 electric scooters make use of telescopic suspension and hydraulic spring while braking duties are taken care of by 180 mm disc brakes on either sides.
