The Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency (HAREDA) has floated tender invited bids for the supply of 33,000 solar inverter chargers.
As per the tender document HAREDA will procure 30,000 inverter-chargers of 640 W and 3,000 inverter-chargers of 320 W.
The last date for the submission of bids is August 11, 2020. The contract will include five years of warranty for the complete system.
These solar inverter chargers will be used to charge the batteries of existing conventional inverters in the state.
The agency notes that Haryana-based manufacturing, micro, and small enterprises (MSEs) and khadi village industry units, will not have to pay any earnest money deposit (EMD). Also Haryana based startups, first-generation entrepreneurs, and central or Haryana public sector enterprises will not have to pay any EMD.
It is worth nothing that for other the EMD amount has been fixed as Rs. 200,000.
Interested bidders should be registered manufacturer of solar modules and should have a valid test report for the solar modules issued by any of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), or International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) accredited laboratory.
The bidder should also have successfully completed a similar contract of at least Rs. 281.4 million during the last three yearsand have a minimum average annual turnover of Rs.211 million in the last three years.
The subsidy amount of Rs. 10,000 for 640 W and Rs.6,000 for 320 W solar inverter charger will be released to the supplier after the satisfactory installation and working of the items after the submission of the joint commissioning report (JCR).
