MG Motor India has finally launched the much awaited MG ZS EV 2021 with starting at Rs 20.99 lakh and going up to Rs 24.18 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The latest version of the car comes with majority of changes under the skin while there are no changes made to the cosmetics or equipment list.
MG ZS EV 2021 packs new 44.5kWh ‘Hi-tech’ battery pack which which according to the company increases the ZS EV’s range to a claimed 419km (iCAT) – up from the 340km (ARAI) offered by the older mode.
The battery pack comes with an 8-year, 1.5 lakh km warranty.
The firm says one could expect real world range of 300-400km on a single charge .
There is no change to the electric motor’s output which continues to develop 143hp and 353Nm.
It comes with Ecotree Challenge feature on the MG i-Smart EV 2.0 connected car system that allows users to track their CO2 emissions and compare it with other owners.
The company continues to offer MG e-shield package offering 5-year unlimited km warranty, 5 labour free services, 5 years road side assistance and 5 way charging infrastructure (DC fast charging, on-board charging cable, home/office charger, mobile charging service and extended charging network) with the latest version .
