Maker of electric vehicle charging solutions, Charge Amps raises $15 million
Swedish electric vehicle charging company Charge Amps has announced that it has raised 130 million crowns ($15.3 million) in a funding round led by Swedbank Robur, ahead of a planned IPO next year. The firm also said Swedbank Robur had also bought shares worth 20 million crowns, bringing its total investment in the firm to 150 million.
Detel Easy Plus electric two-wheeler launched at Rs 39,999
Detel has launched a new electric two-wheeler named as Easy Plus at Rs 39,999. The company has already started bookings of the model. The low-speed electric two-wheeler comes with a ground clearance of 170 mm and is powered by a 20AH lithium-ion battery.
Tesla Car banned by Chinese Military because of the camera installed

500 Zyngo vehicles will use SUN Mobility’s Swap Points in 2021
SUN Mobility has announced its partnership with Zyngo, a hyperlocal 3 PL company dedicated to the last-mile & middle-mile delivery sector. As part of this association, Zyngo’s fleet of E-Loaders/carriers will utilize SUN Mobility’s services through the network of Swap Points, available at IOCL stations, to bolster its last-mile delivery services. The partnership has already witnessed 120 vehicles deployed across 4 cities – Gurugram, Delhi, Noida & Ghaziabad, and will aim to expand to 500 vehicles by end of 2021.
Share of electric vehicles s in Delhi rose to 2.2 percent in 3 months said DDC vice chairperson
The share of electric vehicles in the city has increased from less than 1 percent to 2.2 percent in three months after the announcement of the electric vehicle policy by the Delhi government, DDC vice chairperson Jasmine Shah said. Speaking at a webinar on the role of the corporate sector in creating and enabling an ecosystem for EVs in Delhi, Shah appealed to the corporates to switch their fleet to EV, install charging stations on their premises, and adopt such stations as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility drive.
Foxconn is reportedly looking to partner with Vinfast on electric car
Foxconn is reportedly looking to partner with Vietnamese carmaker VinFast. According to the Reuters the firm is in early-stage talks with the carmaker about partnering in electric vehicles. The news agency citing sources reports that Foxconn has proposed acquiring VinFast’s EV production lines.
Varroc to produce electric vehicle chargers for Delta Q
Auto component maker Varroc Engineering has entered into a contract manufacturing agreement with Vancouver-based Delta-Q Technologies Corp. Under the co-operation agreement inked between the two entities, Varroc would manufacture chargers for Delta-Q in India to support the expansion of the electric two and three-wheeler market.
Delhi to have 1000 electric buses by the end of 2021
In a bid to cut down the pollution and improve air quality, the Delhi government is gearing up to introducde 1,000 electric buses by the end of 2021 said Transport minister Kailash Gahlot while speaking at ETAuto EV Conclave.
