Magenta to open India’s first largest public electric vehicle Charging Station
Magenta Group is gearing up to launch India’s first largest public electric vehicle Charging Station. The company has sent out invites for the inauguration of the largest public Charging Station that is scheduled for 13th July 2021. As of now, not much is known about the charging station and specialty that it is going to incorporate.
HOP Electric Mobility launches Integrated Battery Swapping and Charging Station Network as Hop Energy Network
HOP Electric Mobility has launched an integrated network of battery charging cum swapping stations as ‘Hop Energy Network’. The new initiative is designed to reduce the range anxiety concerns of consumers. The company in a statement said that consumers can charge a Hop electric scooter at home or swap to a fully charged battery when outside in less than 30 seconds. The firm has already started its pilot network with 5 Swapping stations and 50 Batteries in Jaipur earlier this year.
LetsTransport expands electric vehicle fleet with Etrio
In a bid to achieve sustainable growth and to increase the energy efficiency of the logistics sector, Bengaluru-based tech-logistics Company, LetsTransport has entered into an agreement with Etrio to add electric vehicles to its fleet. Under this agreement, LetsTransport will deploy Touro, a three-wheeler electric vehicle, in its last-mile operations across Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, and Pune, in a phased manner over the next 6 months.
Zypp Electric gearing up to launch a new electric cargo two-wheeler for last-mile delivery
Zypp Electric is gearing up to launch its all-new electric cargo two-wheeler for last-mile delivery. The scooter has been designed for last-mile logistics with a loading capacity of up to 250 kg, adding that the average range of the electric vehicle will be about 120 km. It is powered by a 40 Ah battery capacity and a portable pack. It will incorporate IoT-enabled features to track vehicles and batteries and drivers.
MG Motor India, Fortum set up 50 kW superfast public EV charging station in Pune
MG Motor India has set up a 50 kW superfast public EV charging station in Pune in collaboration with Fortum Charge & Drive India. The facility can be accessed by anyone who has a Combined Charging System compliant EV. The public charging station provides 80 per cent of the charging of an electric vehicle, including MG Motor’s ZS in 50 minutes, the company said in a release.
BMW Motorrad unleashes CE 04 electric scooter
BMW Motorrad has introduced the new electric scooter, CE 04. It is seen as a key step towards electrification and urban mobility.
BMW CE 04 offers a powerful motor with an ample battery cell capacity of 60.6 Ah with a range of 130 km. It churns maximum output of 31 kW (42 hp) of power. The electric motor is mounted in the frame between the battery and the rear wheel. It accelerates from 0 to 50 km/h in just 2.6 seconds and offers a maximum speed of 120 km/h.
