Mercedes AMG EQS 53 EV Launched in India.
Mercedes AMG EQS 53 EV comes as first all electric AMG car from the house of Mercedes with zero emission promise. the company touts it as the largest range EV in the country.
With Rs 2.45 crore (ex-showroom), it stands Rs 88 lakh costlier than the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and Rs 1.46 crore more expensive than the Mercedes EQC EV in India. ‘
It packs 400V, 107.8kWh lithium-ion battery which can be charged at speeds of up to 200kW with a fast charger. Power output in the electric car has been rated at 649hp in the standard Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4Matic+, while the variant that boasts the Dynamic Plus package generates 751hp in the Race Start mode.
According to the company the car can achieve a 0-100kph sprint timing in just 3.4 seconds. In terms of the top speed, the standard EQS 53 tops out at 220kph, while the Dynamic Plus maxes out at 250kph.
