Youon Technology, a Chinese enterprise recently launched a new hydrogen-powered bicycle that uses a hydrogen fuel cell and low-pressure hydrogen storage device.
The prototype was recently produced in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, and the first batch of bicycles is expected to enter mass production by the end of March.
The company aims to achieve an annual production capacity of 200,000 units by 2025.
The bicycle is said to emit only water, making it more environmentally friendly than lithium battery-powered electric bikes, and has a longer service life.
