Tata Power has signed an MoU with Enel Group to implement two pilot projects through Tata Power’s Delhi-based distribution business.
The collaboration aims to drive energy security for efficient and sustainable operations, and speed up private sector participation in the digital transformation of power distribution grids in India.
The partnership will enhance grid intelligence, making them resilient and sustainable, and support customization of innovative solutions as per the Indian landscape.
The first project will focus on accelerating digitalization and automation of secondary substations, while the other will test and evaluate the new hybrid smart metering technology featuring dual communication channels.
The projects are in line with Tata Power’s and Enel Group’s commitment to strengthening the mutual goal of driving energy transformation.
