Introduction of Electric Vehicles Marks Significant Step Towards Achieving Zero-Carbon Footprint Goal
Tech Mahindra, a prominent provider of digital transformation services, has launched a green transportation initiative at its Noida campus.
The initiative introduces electric vehicles that will make five daily trips, covering a radius of 250 green kilometres, and save up to 13,500 litres of fuel monthly, resulting in reduced emissions. This move aligns with Tech Mahindra’s commitment to achieving a zero-carbon footprint and promoting sustainability.
The impact of this initiative is noteworthy, with carbon savings equivalent to those generated by 5,241 tree seedlings grown for ten years. Beyond environmental benefits, the electric vehicles will also contribute to lower noise pollution levels.
Harshvendra Soin, Global Chief People Officer and Head of Marketing at Tech Mahindra, emphasized the company’s dedication to a greener future and responsible corporate citizenship.
Tech Mahindra’s comprehensive ESG offerings encompass advisory services, digital solutions, and strategies that integrate sustainability across their operations.
