Rays Power Infra Ltd, has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Uttarakhand Government to construct a 500 MW Solar Park. The collaboration, solidified at a ceremony in Dehradun on December 5, 2023, signifies a significant stride in uniting private and government sectors to advance renewable energy initiatives.

The event, attended by the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand and other key stakeholders, marks a crucial partnership fostering the shift towards sustainable energy solutions.

Ketan Mehta, MD of Rays Power Infra, expressed enthusiasm, stating that the Solar Park not only addresses the state’s power demands but also serves as a catalyst for economic growth and environmental preservation.

The establishment of the 500 MW Solar Park is expected to enhance Uttarakhand’s position as a leader in adopting renewable energy solutions, aligning with the national objective of promoting eco-friendly power solutions. Rays Power Infra’s involvement reinforces its status as a reliable technical partner driving positive change.

Rays Power is actively developing and executing solar parks and plants totaling 2.00 GWp, with expected commissioning in the next 24 months. Additionally, the company is engaged in large-scale solar park development in Rajasthan and has a global presence with projects in Vietnam and Bangladesh. Rays Power Infra is extending its reach across Asia and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regions.
