Waaree Energies secures massive 900 MW solar module supply deal for Rajasthan project

Strengthens Rajasthan’s Renewable Energy Capacity with Elite Series Modules

Waaree Energies Ltd. has signed a significant contract to supply 900 megawatts (MW) of solar modules to Serentica Renewables India for a large-scale solar power plant project in Rajasthan. This project is poised to be one of the biggest solar power plants in India to utilize Waaree modules, marking a major milestone for both companies.

The agreement involves the delivery of Waaree Elite Series N Type Topcon BiN-03-680 to 690Wp GTG Bifacial modules, scheduled from August 2024 to February 2025. Waaree Energies will be responsible for the entire process, encompassing manufacturing, testing, packaging, and transportation of these solar photovoltaic (PV) modules. This ensures adherence to stringent quality standards and timely project completion.

This initiative is expected to significantly bolster the region’s renewable energy capacity, promoting environmental sustainability and reducing carbon emissions. It aligns with India’s ambitious renewable energy goals, paving the way for a greener future.

Sunil Rathi, Director of Sales at Waaree Energies, expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration, highlighting their commitment to excellence and innovation in the renewable energy sector.
