Omega Seiki Mobility Expands Global EV Footprint with OSM Vextra Electric Two-Wheeler, Targets Africa and Middle East

New electric scooter to be exported from India to African markets; electric motorcycle planned for MEA region

Omega Seiki Mobility (OSM), has announced the export of its electric two-wheeler from India to African markets, marking a significant step in strengthening its international presence.

The move aligns with the company’s broader strategy to scale its clean and technology-driven mobility solutions beyond domestic borders.

As part of its global expansion roadmap, Omega Seiki Mobility is also preparing to launch an electric motorcycle tailored for the Middle East and African (MEA) markets. The upcoming model is expected to further reinforce OSM’s ambition to emerge as a key player in global electric mobility, particularly in regions with rapidly growing demand for sustainable and cost-efficient transportation.

At the centre of this expansion is the OSM Vextra, the company’s latest electric two-wheeler designed for urban and semi-urban mobility. Manufactured at OSM’s Faridabad facility in India, the Vextra reflects the company’s focus on performance, durability and customer-centric design, while supporting the global green transition.

The OSM Vextra is powered by a 3.45 kWh LMFP battery with an IP67 rating, offering a certified range of over 110 km on a single charge and a top speed of up to 70 km/h. It features a 3 kW BLDC hub motor with 12-degree gradeability, making it suitable for diverse road conditions. Charging from 0 to 80 percent takes approximately four hours, with a full charge achieved in five hours.

Designed with safety and convenience in mind, the electric scooter is equipped with an AIS-156 compliant battery management system, combined braking system (CBS), and IP67-rated motor and battery. Additional features include three riding modes—Eco, City and Sports—a 3.5-inch colour LCD cluster, USB charging, reverse assist and a kerb weight of 110 kg.

Omega Seiki Mobility currently has an annual production capacity of 25,000 units and continues to expand its portfolio across commercial electric vehicles and personal mobility solutions.
