With a strategic vision to enhance electric mobility, Pragya Goyal will lead ElectricPe’s expansion, establishing 50 new mobility centres across 24 cities, making EV adoption seamless for Indian consumers.
ElectricPe, India’s EV super-app, has announced the appointment of Pragya Goyal as Head of Growth and New Initiatives. This strategic move underscores the company’s commitment to expanding electric mobility solutions across India. In her new role, Goyal will lead ElectricPe’s expansion strategy, aiming to establish 50 new mobility centres across 24 cities, enhancing accessibility for EV consumers nationwide.
Industry Veteran to Spearhead ElectricPe’s Growth
With extensive experience in the electric vehicle (EV) sector, Pragya Goyal has been at the forefront of EV innovation. As the Co-Founder & CEO of Vegh Automobiles, she successfully launched EV two-wheelers, scaling the brand to over 100 dealerships across India. Additionally, her expertise in digital transformation was evident during her tenure at Ashok Leyland, where she played a key role in developing Service Mandi, a pioneering platform for commercial vehicle services.
Commenting on the appointment, Avinash Sharma, Founder & CEO of ElectricPe, stated:
“We have successfully tested and scaled our full-stack EV model in Karnataka, achieving product-market fit. Pragya’s expertise will be instrumental as we expand nationwide, launching 50 new mobility centres in the next four months.”
Expressing her enthusiasm, Pragya Goyal shared:
“India’s EV ecosystem is evolving rapidly, and I am excited to contribute to this transformation. By increasing accessibility through our mobility stores, we aim to build trust among consumers and simplify EV ownership.”
Founded in 2021, ElectricPe has been addressing the major roadblocks in EV adoption—helping users choose the right vehicle, providing EV financing solutions, ensuring access to charging infrastructure, and offering subscription-based battery services.
To bridge the gap in EV awareness and accessibility, ElectricPe launched mobility centres—both online via its app and website, and through physical stores. These centres enable customers to compare EV options, explore financing solutions, and receive guaranteed after-sales service, easing concerns around vehicle maintenance.
Enhancing EV Charging Accessibility
One of the biggest challenges in India’s EV sector is the availability of charging infrastructure. To address this, ElectricPe has been expanding its nationwide charging network across urban and semi-urban locations. In July 2024, the company partnered with Google to integrate real-time EV charging point availability into Google Maps, helping users plan their journeys efficiently and reduce range anxiety.
Additionally, ElectricPe’s flexible battery subscription plans eliminate the burden of upfront battery costs, ensuring hassle-free ownership with reliable battery replacements and maintenance.
Scaling Up for a Greener Future
With Pragya Goyal’s leadership, ElectricPe is poised to accelerate India’s shift towards cost-effective, sustainable, and consumer-friendly electric mobility. As the company expands its physical and digital touchpoints, it is set to make electric two-wheelers the preferred choice for Indian consumers, driving the country closer to a greener future.
