PSA for 590 MW Wind Power signed by SECI with HPPC at Panchkula

A Power Sale Agreement (PSA) of 590 MW Wind Power was signed by SECI_Ltd with Haryana Power Purchase Centre (HPPC) at Panchkula. The SECI announced about the development via its official twitter handle.

Recently, SECI signed a PSA of 100 MW Wind Power with BSES YAMUNA Power Limited. However, both the companies did not reveal info on the tariff at which BSES will procure power from SECI.

Early this month Reliance Infrastructure-owned power discoms BSES Yamuna (BYPL) and BSES Rajdhani (BRPL) announced that they have signed an agreement with SECI for sourcing 200 Megawatt (100 MW power each) at a rate of Rs 2.84 per unit for the next 25 years.

The power will be procured through SECI, which will act as an intermediary procurer.
