Mahoba Solar and SBE Renewable bags 1050 MW wind-solar hybrid power projects

The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has published the results of e-bidding for 1200 mw ISTS-connected wind-solar hybrid power projects (Tranche-I). Two bidders, Mahoba Solar Private Limited and SBE Renewable Ten Private Limited bagged total 840 MW capacity of the wind-solar hybrid power projects tender after submitting bids worth 1050 MW.

Mahoba Solar has bagged 600 MW solar project at a tariff of Rs 2.69/kWh, while SBE Renewables has been awarded 450 MW capacity at a quoted tariff of Rs 2.67/kWh.

Last year in December the State-owned SECI floated RfS document for setting up of 1200 MW ISTS connected wind power projects (Tranche-VI) on “Build Own Operate” basis.

SECI will enter into PPA with the developers for a period of 25 years from the date as per the provisions of PPA.
