The teen Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg has finally arrived in New York on Wednesday sailing through the Atlantic for the United Nations Climate Action Summit.
The 16 years old activist Greta Thunberg tweeted “We have anchored off Coney Island – clearing customs and immigration.” she is expected to come ashore in Manhattan in the afternoon.
Sailed through to Atlantic to avoid the greenhouse gas emissions that come with flying on a commercial jet said Thunberg.
The Swedish activist also documented her journey on social media, including posts in rough seas with waves crashing over her.
