Micro mobility service provider Yulu on Monday launched its e-bike operations in Delhi. The company has deployed 250 e-bikes, named Yulu Miracle, to redefine Micro Mobility in the capital city.
Amit Gupta, co-founder, Yulu speaking to ET said “Delhi is a megacity with extreme weather conditions. But considering that we have run Yulu Miracle for the past six months in Bengaluru and Navi Mumbai, we were reasonably confident of our business and the EV understanding of launching it here too.”
Yulu is planning to have around 5,000 Yulu Miracles across Delhi-NCR. The company is expecting to further extend its service to all the metro stations by deploying up to 25,000 scooters by H2 of 2020.
The publication notes that Yulu services will be available at 40 Yulu Zones (pick up and drop points) around 9 metro stations from Dilli Haat INA to JLN Stadium on the Blue and Yellow Line.
The light-weight scooter was launched in partnership with DMRC at the Mandi House metro station.
