One Planet Network (an initiative by United Nations Environment Programme) and Ripu Daman Bevli (known as Plogman of India) have come together to promote sustainable lifestyle.
The 5 pillars of sustainable lifestyle includes food, stuff, money, movement and fun where each human has an impact and where one can make choices to have a more positive impact on the planet. Creating a buzz about these areas, a social media challenge #AnatomyOfAction has been launched. This social media challenge #AnatomyOfAction showcases the top level changes any individual can make to support the growing shift to global sustainability.
Users were asked to describe the #AnatomyofAction Challenge State the domain (#Food) + action (#UseAllYourFood) Hashtags to include: #AnatomyOfAction #ActNow Tag @unep and @UnSchools in the caption and on the photo. Additionally, they were to Tag 3 friends and challenge them to take action too thus using graphics and include the hand action symbol Some users also created short videos to reach more friends.
Team Anatomy of Action, UNEP said, “We are very excited to work with Ripu. Our goal is to inspire more people to take some of these actions to live better and lighter. And Ripu has already inspired people to do so.”
According to Ripu Daman Bevli, Founder – Litter Free India , “ I am very pleased to unite with Anatomy of Action to promote sustainable lifestyle through a unique challenge. This is our first such partnership with UNEP, looking forward to more such associations to create a huge impact. I urge people to just take one step at a time. Even our Plastic Upvaas campaign aims to get people across the world to take small steps everyday and achieve Sustainable Development Goals in the longer run.”
