Government likely to impose basic custom duty on solar modules and cells next week

If reports are to be believed, then the Centre is gearing up to impose a basic customs duty on imported solar modules and cells likely next week. Business Line citing top official from the Ministry for New and Renewable Energy reports that, the Department of Revenue has informally given their nod.
