Trina Solar expands its integrative module and tracker solution and showcases n-type solar technology at the Green Energy Expo in Daegu.
Trina Solar is launching the second generation of its TrinaTracker Vanguard 2P tracker at the Green Energy Expo in Daegu, South Korea.
The first-generation tracker was powered by a single electric motor, but the second generation uses multiple motors to reduce installation and maintenance time and ensure perfect tracking synchronisation.
It has undergone extensive wind tunnel tests and has a low pile count, making it quicker and easier to install and reducing maintenance costs over the product’s lifecycle.
The tracker includes the TrinaTracker ‘SuperTrack’ algorithm that optimises panel tilt for a further 3-8% energy gain, and comes with TrinaTracker’s SmartCloud SCADA system for remote operations and maintenance diagnostics.
Trina Solar is also showcasing its n-type solar technology at the Green Energy Expo, including the Vertex N, with maximum efficiency of 22.4% and maximum power output of 695W, and the Vertex S+, with power output up to 445W and efficiency up to 22.3%.
