Iwama brings extensive experience from Honda Motor Company and aims to lead HIPP towards sustained growth and success
Honda India Power Products Limited (HIPP) has appointed Mr. Shigeki Iwama as its new President, effective from April 1st, 2023.
Iwama will succeed Takahiro Ueda and will be responsible for steering HIPP in its next phase of growth.
With close to 20 years of experience with Honda Motor Company, specializing in the power products business, Mr. Iwama is well equipped to lead HIPP.
He has previously held the position of President at Honda Motor Europe’s Central Europe branch and has an extensive background in the power products industry.
In his new role, Iwama expressed his avidity to harness the unwavering potential posed by the Indian market and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. He also stated that HIPP will continue with its eco-friendly approach across its product line-up to support the Indian Government’s efforts towards sustainability.
