Flagship company of Spark Minda expands EV offerings and reaffirms commitment to sustainable mobility
Minda Corporation Limited, the flagship company of Spark Minda, has recently announced a significant contract win from a leading OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) to manufacture Battery Chargers for Electric Vehicles (EVs).
The contract has a lifetime value of INR 750 crores, further strengthening the company’s position in the sustainable mobility segment.
The impressive order win highlights Minda Corp’s commitment to sustainable transportation and expands its range of offerings for the EV market.
Aakash Minda, Executive Director of Minda Corp, expressed his satisfaction with this achievement, stating, “This prestigious order is a testament to Spark Minda’s robust EV product portfolio and our focus on customer-centricity. The awarded product, the Battery Chargers, will be manufactured at Spark Minda’s state-of-the-art facility, Spark Minda Green Mobility Systems Private Limited, located in Pune.
This subsidiary, wholly owned by Minda Corporation Limited, is equipped with advanced technology and infrastructure to meet the growing demands of the EV sector.
Notably, during the previous financial year, electric vehicles accounted for approximately 20% of Spark Minda’s total order wins.
The recent contract win further solidifies the company’s commitment to green and connected mobility, reinforcing its position as a forward-looking organization dedicated to revolutionizing the automotive sector through innovation and technological excellence.
