Jal Prahari Samman Samaroh 4.0: Recognizing Heroes of Water Conservation

Honoring 33 Champions at New Delhi Event for Building a Water-Secure India

In a determined effort to champion water conservation, the 4th Edition of Jal Prahari Samman Samaroh is set for December 13, 2023, at New Maharashtra Sadan in New Delhi. Supported by the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India, and in collaboration with UNOPS, the event aims to honor 33 individuals for their outstanding contributions to water conservation under the theme “Jal Atmanirbhar Bharat.”

The Chief Guest, Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Honourable Minister of Jal Shakti, will lead the event, with notable guests including Smt. Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti and various Members of Parliament. The ceremony will be a platform for celebrating the relentless efforts of water protectors nationwide.

Ameya Sathaye, CEO of Sarkaritel.com, expressed pride in recognizing the dedication of water protectors, highlighting the significance of their role in building a sustainable and water-secure future for India.

Shri Anil Singh, Convenor, stressed the shared responsibility of water conservation, calling for collective efforts, especially in light of India hosting COP 33. A panel discussion covering vital topics and an Ambassadors session with global figures will be featured during the event.

Jal Prahari Samman Samaroh aligns with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision, emphasizing water conservation. The recognition of water warriors has already led to their engagement in various areas across India.
