JSA Advises MUFG Bank and Crédit Agricole on ₹817 Crore Financing for Engie’s 200 MW Solar Project in Gujarat

The funding supports the development of a solar photovoltaic facility at GSECL’s Khavda Solar Park, reinforcing India’s clean energy ambitions.

JSA has successfully advised MUFG Bank, Ltd. and Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank on rupee term loan facilities totaling ₹817 crore extended to Enren-II Energy Private Limited.

The funding will support the development of a 200 MW (AC) solar photovoltaic power project located within GSECL’s Khavda Solar Park in Khavda village, Bhuj Taluka, Kutch district, Gujarat.

Enren-II Energy is a project company of global energy leader Engie, and the solar farm is part of India’s growing renewable energy push to meet ambitious clean energy goals. The project is strategically located in one of India’s largest solar parks, reinforcing the country’s commitment to sustainable energy infrastructure.

The JSA advisory team was led by Partner Karan Mitroo, with critical support from Partner Purvi Dabbiru, Senior Associate Aishwarya Dixit, and Associate Shantanu Awasthi.
