Three-month hybrid certification aims to equip professionals with practical skills in ESG reporting, carbon finance and AI-driven sustainability solutions.
Strengthening India’s corporate sustainability ecosystem, The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) has launched the second cohort of its Corporate Sustainability Leadership Programme titled “Navigating ESG, AI & Carbon Markets.”
The three-month hybrid certification programme is designed to help professionals, business leaders and sustainability practitioners respond to evolving ESG expectations, emerging technologies and the growing influence of carbon markets.
Launched at TERI Headquarters in New Delhi, the initiative brings together academic, government, media and industry stakeholders through a collaboration involving TERI, the National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE), Firstpost and Zenora.
Speaking at the launch, TERI leaders highlighted that ESG is increasingly becoming a business necessity shaped by global reporting standards, regulatory frameworks and market shifts rather than remaining a compliance exercise.
The programme will focus on key areas including ESG disclosure frameworks, greenhouse gas accounting, net-zero pathways, carbon finance, AI-enabled sustainability solutions and leadership for sustainable business transformation.
As sustainability becomes central to corporate strategy, TERI’s latest initiative aims to prepare a new generation of professionals capable of driving climate action, resilience and long-term business value.
