Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), a renewable energy arm of The Tata Power Company Limited, has set a new benchmark by commissioning 752 MW of solar power projects in the first quarter of FY26 — marking a 112% jump compared to 354 MW commissioned in Q1 FY25.
This milestone stands as the company’s highest-ever quarterly addition, reinforcing its position as one of India’s largest and fastest-growing renewable energy players.

The company is further set to commission 1.7 GW of utility-owned capacity and an additional 1 GW of third-party projects during FY26.
Tata Power Renewable Energy is on track to reach its ambitious target of 7.3 GW of total operational capacity by the end of FY26, with 5.6 GW in solar and 1.7 GW in wind power.
