Eureka Forbes has launched six new Aeroguard air purifiers covering rooms from 175 sq. ft. to 440 sq. ft., with select models offering Wi-Fi controls, True HEPA H13 filtration and up to two-year filter life.
Air pollution is no longer a problem limited to outdoor spaces. With indoor air quality increasingly becoming a concern for households, Eureka Forbes has expanded its air purifier portfolio with six new models under its Aeroguard range.
The new models target different room sizes and budgets, with prices starting at ₹4,299 and going up to ₹19,999. Depending on the model, buyers get features including multi-stage filtration, 360-degree air intake, PM2.5 monitoring, Wi-Fi connectivity and app-based controls.
Here are five things to know about Eureka Forbes’ latest Aeroguard air purifier range.
1. Six new models target different room sizes
The new Aeroguard models are designed for spaces ranging from 175 sq. ft. to 440 sq. ft., allowing the company to target everything from bedrooms and study areas to larger living rooms.
The broader Forbes air purifier portfolio, including existing models, covers spaces of up to 670 sq. ft.
The company is also positioning the new range for commercial and semi-commercial spaces such as offices, clinics and salons.
However, purification time, coverage area and available features differ between models, so consumers will need to match the purifier’s specifications with the size of the room rather than simply choosing a model based on price.
2. True HEPA H13 filtration is at the centre of the range
The Aeroguard models use a multi-stage filtration system designed to tackle different types of indoor pollutants.
The filtration setup includes:
- Pre-filter: Designed to capture larger particles such as dust and pet hair.
- True HEPA H13 filter: Eureka Forbes says it can remove 99.97% of smoke, PM2.5, dust, allergens, bacteria, pollen and pet dander.
- Activated Carbon filter: Intended to absorb odours and harmful VOC gases.
Some models go further with features such as a washable pre-filter, ioniser, high-carbon granule filter for cooking odours and smoke, and dual-sided True HEPA H13 filtration.
The company says the 360-degree air intake system draws polluted air from multiple directions before passing it through the filtration stages.
3. Some models turn the purifier into a connected device
Not every model in the new range comes with smart connectivity but select Aeroguard purifiers offer Wi-Fi and app-based controls.
Users can remotely monitor indoor air quality, change operating settings and schedule purification cycles.
Other model-dependent features include a PM2.5 display with colour indicators, Auto Mode, Sleep Mode, display dimming and Child Lock.
An aroma diffuser is also available on selected models.
For consumers who want an air purifier that can be monitored without manually checking the device, the Wi-Fi-enabled models could be the more attractive option. But buyers should check the exact feature list because smart functionality is not standard across all six models.
4. Eureka Forbes is pitching lower ownership costs
The upfront price of an air purifier is only part of the equation. Replacement filters can become a significant recurring expense, particularly in cities where pollution levels are high.
Eureka Forbes says the new Aeroguard range offers up to two years of filter life, depending on the model and usage conditions.
Some models also feature washable pre-filters and individually replaceable filtration stages, which the company says are intended to reduce long-term ownership costs.
Genuine replacement filters are available through the company’s website.
The purifiers have also undergone more than 30 quality and performance tests and validations, according to the company. A two-year product warranty on registration is offered, although filters and other consumables are excluded.
5. Prices start at ₹4,299, with nationwide availability
The new Aeroguard models are priced between ₹4,299 and ₹19,999, putting the range across entry-level and higher-end segments.
They are being sold through national and regional retail chains, Amazon, Flipkart, Eureka Forbes’ digital channels and select quick-commerce platforms.
The company says availability can vary by sales channel.
According to Anurag Kumar, Chief Growth Officer, Eureka Forbes Limited, air pollution has evolved from a seasonal concern in Delhi into a year-round issue across India. He said the company wants to make air purification more accessible while offering features such as rapid purification, longer filter life and nationwide service support.
Editor’s pick
The expansion comes as India’s air purifier market moves beyond the traditional winter pollution narrative. While Delhi and other northern Indian cities continue to experience severe seasonal pollution, concerns around dust, smoke, allergens, VOCs and indoor air quality are relevant throughout the year.
But the bigger question for consumers is not simply how much PM2.5 a purifier can remove on paper. Actual performance will depend on room size, pollution levels, operating time, filter condition, maintenance and whether users operate the machine consistently.
Eureka Forbes’ new range therefore gives consumers more choices, but buyers should look beyond the headline 99.97% filtration claim and compare CADR, room coverage, filter replacement costs, noise levels, energy consumption and the availability of genuine replacement filters before making a purchase.
That is where the real value of an air purifier will ultimately be tested.
