Next-generation BESS offers instant power backup, renewable integration and up to 6,000 lifecycle cycles, reducing outage-related losses for businesses
Loom Solar has announced the launch of its scalable 125kW/261kWh CAML Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), expandable up to 1MWh, aimed at delivering uninterrupted and seamless power to the country’s Commercial and Industrial (C&I) sector.
The new solution is designed to significantly reduce production losses caused by power outages and voltage fluctuations.
Positioned as a cleaner and smarter alternative to conventional diesel generator-based backup systems, Loom Solar’s BESS ensures instantaneous power availability, eliminating the typical switch-over delays of 30 seconds to three minutes associated with diesel gensets.
This makes it especially suitable for industries where even brief interruptions can disrupt critical operations.
Engineered for microgrid applications, the scalable BESS addresses low-voltage conditions and power cuts while providing continuous power for over two hours with deep-discharge capability. The system operates quietly and safely, supporting high uptime and operational efficiency for businesses across manufacturing, processing and other power-intensive sectors.
The battery system is built for long-term performance, offering a lifecycle of up to 6,000 charge–discharge cycles, translating into enhanced durability and strong economic value over its operational life.
Developed through Loom Solar’s in-house research and development efforts and validated at advanced testing facilities, the BESS reflects the company’s focus on innovation and reliability.
