AML Superconductivity & Magnetics has announced successful completion of fiscal year 2017. Applying bleeding edge magnet technology for disrupting existing and enabling new applications in the sectors of energy, medical, transportation and science – more breakthroughs are anticipated in 2018.
In the final quarter of the year the company met all their objectives for on-boarding Fortune 100 companies and strategic product developments for converging on the E-mobility market.
Given the global agenda for movement towards E-mobility with the electrification of transportation, AML is positioned uniquely with being the ‘go to’ partner for vehicles that utilize propulsion motors, including drone, vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL), airplanes, and large airborne generator companies. AML’s technology enables 30%-50% improvement in performance – equating to lighter and more efficient electric propulsion systems.
According to CEO Mark Senti, “AML is the world’s best at optimizing magnet-based products and applications. AML’s Technology Platform has redefined how magnets are designed, manufactured and applied. The result is an unprecedented increase in performance for existing products and the enablement of new applications. Competitors like GE, Siemens and ABB still utilize conventional magnet technologies fundamentally unchanged since first invented in the late 1800s.”
Leveraging a successful track record of project execution and a comprehensive IP portfolio of over 27 patents, proprietary design software, and manufacturing processes AML will continue to drive the movement towards a revolution with efficiency and performance of the highest power density electrical machines on the planet with the AML magnets inside.
AML’s business model works to strategically align technology with industry, customers and investors to jointly pursue high-impact applications in billion dollar plus markets.
