Arctech Solar recently shipped 46MWp racking system to First Solar’s solar power plant in Gunma, Japan. Arctech Solar has supplied a fixed-mounting structure, which is well-equipped for First Solar’s new Series 6 thin-film module, to the Japanese market said the company in a statement.
This project is expected to start commercial operation in early 2019, and it will start power generation for local residents. Given the project is being set up on a golf course in hilly terrain, Arctech Solar supplied its single pole solution to this project.
With the unique design of joints and adjustable connectors, the single pole structure can adapt well to N-S and E-W slopes. Thanks to its advantage of efficient factory pre-assembly and welding-free installation method at project sites, the single pole solution brings significant economic value by minimizing the field installation labor cost.(Read Arctech Solar’s SkySmart, new tracking system for bifacial modules is now available globally)
