EV revolution has really kicked off well In India as well, especially in the two-wheeler and last mile mobility segment, unfortunately the passenger car segment still needs to get the similar level of momentum.

Ather Energy

Ather Energy is India’s foremost electric two-wheeler brand, founded in 2013 by IIT Madras alumni, Tarun Mehta, and Swapnil Jain. In 2018, Ather Energy launched India’s first intelligent, electric scooter – Ather 450, followed by their new flagship offering Ather 450X in 2020.

Engineered ground-up with a singular focus on performance, the Ather 450X is a sheer joy to ride. Ather 450X can go upto 116 km and picks a top speed of 80 km/h. The scooter has a 2.61kWh battery. This scooter can be 80% charged in 3 hrs 35 minutes. Features include a 17.78 cm (7″) LCD display for everything you need to see on your ride – from navigation to incoming calls to nearest charging points.

Ola Electric

Bengaluru based Ola Electric Mobility is an Indian electric two-wheeler manufacturer.  Though it has been recently in news for both good and bad, but its S1 scooters are really selling like hot cake. Ola S1 is the big sibling of the Ola S1 Pro wearing almost the same features. The Ola S1 e scooter is priced at Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom) and can be booked at Rs 499. Ola S1 electric scooter is powered by a 3 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that offer a claimed range of 141 km per charge.

Okinawa Autotech

Okinawa Autotech, one of the country’s largest electric two-wheeler manufacturing companies ,recently inaugurated two new state-of-the-art experience centres, Okinawa Galaxy, in Nerul, Maharashtra, and Ahmedabad, Gujrat. Currently, Okinawa has 10 Galaxy stores and more than 500 dealerships in India. Okinawa is also planning to open 200 stores this year. Okinawa Galaxy stores will offer an exclusive view and a chance to closely examine crucial components such as the battery, motor, and chassis in greater detail. The highlight of these state-of-the-art experience centers is the customization zone, where customers can revamp their chosen EV with bespoke details.

Okinawa iPraise+ equips a smaller 3.3 kWh lithium-ion battery that powers a 1000W BLDC motor from before. Its ARAI-certified range of 139 km/single charge makes it more than ideal for city commutes.

Ampere Electric

Ampere Electric scooters is the electric two-wheeler scooter brand of Greaves Electric Mobility. Recently Greaves Electric Mobility partnered with Flipkart to bring Ampere Electric scooters to millions of customers and enable customers to seamlessly begin their EV journey. It will initially start selling Ampere Magnus EX Electric Scooters through Flipkart. The Magnus EX. The e-scooter epitomizes best-in-class comfort and functionally superior performance with a host of improved & innovative features. With a mileage of 121 Kms per charge as per ARAI, Magnus EX comes at an attractive price of INR 68,999/- (Ex-showroom Pune price). Magnus EX comes with a detachable lightweight & portable advanced lithium battery for easy charge in any 5-amp socket at home, office, coffee shop, or any plug-on-the-wall charge point.  As per market observation average daily runs by a normal person, any in-city commuter can drive up to 3 days in one single charge with new Magnus EX escooter. It comes with optimum city driving speed up to 53 kmph. HOP Electric
