RACEnergy and Hala Mobility collaborate to deploy 2,000 electric two-wheelers in India

The fleet integrated with RACEnergy’s state-of-the-art battery-swapping technology will be utilized for delivery services across India

RACEnergy, a deep tec company for battery swapping, has announced a collaboration with Hala Mobility, to deploy a fleet of 2,000 electric two-wheelers integrated with RACEnergy’s battery-swapping technology.

The partnership aims to make e-mobility more accessible to the public through user-friendly and cost-effective technology.

The fleet will be utilized for delivery services across India, with Phase I of the rollout set to begin by July this year.

The collaboration between RACEnergy and Hala Mobility is expected to accelerate the adoption of clean mobility in the country, with electric two-wheelers leading the EV industry in India with a 305% growth in sales recorded last year.

RACEnergy’s dense battery swapping network and lightweight interoperable battery packs that work across two-and-three wheelers will help Hala accelerate and expand its market and customer base.

The company has already established a strong presence in Telangana’s e-auto market and is confident that it will penetrate the electric two-wheeler market and reach an even broader user base through its partnership with Hala Mobility.

Founded in 2019 by BITS Pilani alumni Arun Sreyas and Gautham Maheswaran, RACEnergy is committed to revolutionizing the electric mobility sector in India through its state-of-the-art battery-swapping technology for electric two and three-wheelers.

The company’s innovative approach to electric mobility addresses critical challenges such as the high cost of vehicles, long-charging times, and range anxiety.
