Inox Wind bags 150 MW Wind Energy Project from NTPC Renewable Energy

Order marks a significant milestone in the ongoing collaboration between Inox Wind and NTPC, boosting India’s wind energy sector.

Inox Wind, a leading wind energy solutions provider in India, announced on Tuesday that it has secured a significant 150 MW wind energy project from NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPCREL) in the state of Gujarat. This latest order adds to the existing collaboration between the two companies, with a cumulative total of 550 MW awarded to Inox Wind by NTPC to date.

Under the terms of the agreement, Inox Wind will be responsible for the supply and installation of advanced wind turbine generators at the project site, utilizing both existing and new technology. In addition to the installation, the company will also provide operation and maintenance (O&M) services for the project.

CEO of Inox Wind, Kailash Tarachandani, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting the company’s commitment to delivering state-of-the-art wind energy solutions. Inox Wind’s expertise lies in catering to various clients, including independent power producers (IPPs), utilities, public sector undertakings (PSUs), and corporate investors.
