Deep-Tech Startup and EV OEM Collaborate to Deploy 10,000 InstaCharged Electric Two-Wheelers in India

Log9 Materials, a deep-tech and battery tech startup, has announced a strategic partnership with Quantum Energy Limited, an electric vehicle original equipment manufacturer (OEM) based in Hyderabad. The collaboration was initiated through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and aims to revolutionize the last-mile logistics sector in India through the deployment of electric vehicles (EVs) equipped with Log9’s RapidX 2000 batteries.

One of the highlights of this partnership is the unveiling of a new electric vehicle model called ‘Bzinesslite InstaCharged by Log9.’ Powered by Log9’s RapidX 2000 batteries, this vehicle boasts the impressive capability of going from zero to full charge within just 12 minutes, offering a significant advantage in terms of charging time.

The joint efforts of Log9 Materials and Quantum Energy are geared towards deploying 10,000 units of the InstaCharged EVs across India by March 2024. These electric two-wheelers will cater to various use cases in the Indian last-mile logistics sector, including e-commerce, food delivery, and courier services. The goal is to provide a sustainable and efficient solution for the growing demand in these sectors.

To kickstart the initiative, Log9 and Quantum Energy will collaborate with Whizzy Logistics, a logistics fleet service provider specializing in hyperlocal deliveries. They plan to deploy 200 units of the Bzinesslite e-2Ws in Hyderabad, showcasing the capabilities of the fast-charging EVs in a real-world setting.

Kartik Hajela, Co-founder & COO of Log9, expressed his satisfaction with the partnership, emphasizing the shared vision of electrifying the last-mile logistics sector in India. He highlighted the significance of Log9’s RapidX 2000 battery, which integrates seamlessly into Quantum Energy’s Bzinesslite electric two-wheelers, providing the fastest charging electric two-wheeler suitable for India’s tropical climatic conditions.

Chakravarthy C, Director of Quantum Energy, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration and the revolutionary product, Bzinesslite. He emphasized the user-friendly nature of the vehicle, stating, “Plug it. Charge it. Repeat. Unlimited fast charge, stress-free.”

The partnership between Log9 Materials and Quantum Energy represents a significant step forward in the adoption of electric vehicles for last-mile logistics in India. By leveraging Log9’s deep-tech expertise and Quantum Energy’s manufacturing capabilities, they aim to make a substantial impact on the mobility and energy sector in the country.
